Recently, State of Decay was given a fresh makeover for the Xbox One. People depended on you for survival, resources needed to be found, areas explored, and while you did fight zombies, the main task was to avoid them at all costs. Instead of just mindlessly mowing through undead after undead, you actually had people to rescue. The Undead Labs-developed title will be released digitally and at retail on PC and Xbox One for $29.99/₤19.99/€29.99 on April 28 in North America and May worldwide.When State of Decay first launched for the Xbox 360, it was a bit of fresh air in the zombie infested world of video games. NPC Enclaves are also getting a makeover, making it easier to trade and build trust with them. New mission type: Mysterious supply crates start dropping into remote areas across the map, attracting massive hordes of zombies. Here's everything else which is included. Improved lighting, textures, and shadows as well as animations and combat mechanics have been completely over-hauled.
This includes: the original State of Decay as well as the Breakdown and Lifeline add-ons. It also comes with all first-year content completely remastered in 1080p. The edition comes with an exclusive new character for all owners of the original title: Gurubani Kaur who uses "an old Indian cavalry sword" that her father kept as an antique. To qualify for the discount, players must have purchased the base game and have the same active Xbox Live account when the Year-One Survival Edition becomes available for purchase on Xbox One. This version is also coming to PC and there's an upgrade plan for Xbox 360 State of Decay owners which offers a 33% discount on State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition, but they will need to take advantage of it by June 30.
